Nicholson Astoria was the Group's first venture into large scale extension and new construction.

It saw the original floor plate of the former Post Office doubled in size by way of a 2 storey rear extension and 2 storey roof extension.

This saw the creation of a first of its kind penthouse to the borough, 2 duplex penthouses in excess of 1,200sqft each with a balcony leading off the master bedroom and rooftop terrace garden on the 6th level. This represents the jewel in the crown.

The finished projects the creation of St Helens' signature residences:

10 x 1 bedroom apartments;

2 x 1 bedroom apartments with living area balcony;

2 x 1 bedroom apartments with living area and bedroom balconies;

2 x 2 bedroom penthouses with balconies;

2 x 2 bedroom duplex penthouses with balconies leading from master bedroom and 350sqft private rooftop terrace gardens

The once derelict building saw the ground floor reconfigured into a thriving shopping parade, fully occupied and home to bustling independent stores.
