All apartments at former Tyrers building reserved after open house event

The 15 luxury apartments at Nicholson Lofts, developed by the Luxor Group, have been snapped up ahead of the completion of construction work in early March.

The apartments, which start at £550 per month, were showcased during an open house event this month, giving the public an exclusive look at the transformation of the former department store on Bridge Street.

Each unit contains integrated kitchens, high speed internet, CCTV, secure access via a coloured screen video intercom and secure car parking available nearby.

Paul Nicholson, managing director of Luxor Group added, "The interest we have had for Nicholson Lofts from the public has been exceptional. We are delighted with the feedback following our first open house event and that we are now 100 per cent let. We have exceeded expectations for rent and secured reservations from our target market of young professionals in the area".

"This highlights the real demand for housing of this kind in St Helens town centre and supports the ongoing regeneration plans throughout the borough.”

Luxor Group’s next project will see the conversion of Claughton House in St Helens, which will be transformed in to 18 residential units comprising of studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments.

The development will be known as Nicholson House and construction work is set to be complete in summer 2018.

Paul added: “We are very excited to embark on our second St Helens project and bring another unloved derelict building back to economic use.

“Alongside Nicholson Lofts, Claughton House is part of our much wider vision to make St Helens a thriving place to work, live and invest in. Our success at Tyrers gives us the confidence in Claughton House going forward.”
